About Prof Plani

Owner and Host of Rest & Resus House

Prof Frank Plani is the former Trauma Director at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (CHBAH) and current Trauma Director at the NetCare Alberton Hospital Academic Level 1 Trauma Centre.

Prof Plani's deep understanding of the demands of medical training, rotations and academic visits informs the design and management of the house. He lives on site in the main suite, and where schedules and permissions allow, informal clinical engagement may be possible.

This is not guaranteed, and guests' primary clinical duties always take precedence over any informal engagement.

Rest & Resus House has no formal affiliation with any university, hospital or medical program. Any clinical exposure, academic meetings or informal engagements are entirely informal, optional and subject to applicable permissions, schedules and the guest's own duties.
